I was wrongfully accused and charged with attempted burglary in the state of Nebraska, But before being wrongfully accused and charged the Lincoln LPD police dept moved a little to fast and put my mug shot and a wrote up and said a big bunch of bull shit in the local papaer and on the local news. Therefore doing all that I now lost a great job i was just hired for with a great company in Lincoln Nebraska and ruined me as a person. What are my rights, What can I do?

If you were wrongfully accused and charged, but then the case was dismissed, then you have them over a barrel. unfortunately there won't be too much that you can do about the job, but you have the Lincoln LPD for sure. By publicly showing your mug shot (even though you were not the one) makes them liable for damages, deformation of character, and I'm sure a whole laundry list of other things that you can sue them over. However this is not my realm of experience. From my realm, I know that you should also make them do an immediate expungement of the criminal arrest record.
